There is Cloud computing for business, Google & Microsoft & than there is a new use for virtual business's.
Central Working which was highlighted on Reuters Business Travel. They called it "home from home for entrepreneurs.
Central Working has a membership, like a club. Right now it is located in the UK only. The basic idea is that a member signs in with a request. For example, they need a tech question answered. Central Working staff puts them in touch with one of their members that is a computer technician. They are a matching service for business needs.
The possibilities of matches are enormous. Business that are growing but don't have complete expertise in a few areas or only have one or two questions that need answers. There is also that a business that has a product that can be matched with a buyer. See where this is going?
With the advances in Cloud, laptop WiFi hotspots, cellphones and cellphone apps, there is a growing environment for all ideas to use the virtual environment for all sorts of business.
For instance, a foreman in the field needs a backhoe. It wasn't planned for But the foreman has a cellphoe & can send an image, text what he needs and the office personnel can connect with a central virtual office to find out where they can get a backhoe ASAP.
To me it seems like a 911 call for a business. :) With the number of retired people of expertise across a lot of areas in cybertime, it would seem to me to be a very good way for some to make some extra money also.
